Darien Library Public Hearing
On Wednesday evening, January 18th at 7:30 p.m., we will hold a public hearing on our budget proposal for the 2006-2007 fiscal year. At the same session, we will provide up-to-date information about the new building project. The hearing will be held in the Community Room at the Library.
During the budget hearing, we will provide in-depth information about our budget, which we will be presenting to the Board of Selectmen the next week, on January 26. This will be the Library's first such public hearing, and we are hoping to get lots of questions and suggestions.
Also on January 18th, we will present an overview of the status of our new building plans, including progress in receiving approvals, the schedule for groundbreaking, construction and completion, and a view of our plans. Please be there so we can keep you updated on our progress, and answer your questions.
