Affordable Housing Information

Affordable housing continues to be a hot topic as the Housing Authority considers potential redevelopment of the Allen-O'Neill Homes.

For a quick snapshot of the state of affordable housing in Connecticut, check out the Connecticut Housing Coalition’s Housing Statistics. More in depth housing statistics are available on the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development website.

In February 2000, the Blue Ribbon Commission to Study Affordable Housing released its report on the state of affordable housing in Connecticut. More information on the Commission is available on the Connecticut General Assembly’s Select Committee on Housing’s webpage.
