BOF Approves the Town Budget

In a brief meeting last night, the Board of Finance voted unanimously to approve the town budget and to set the mill rate at 13.4, a 2.92% increase over last year's rate. This is a smaller increase than in the past several years, which have seen an average mill rate increase of 6%, according to BOF Chairman Peter Hovell.

The budget now goes before the RTM, which will take action on the budget at its May 8 meeting.
