We bring the blog to you
Wednesday night, Louise Berry, Alan Gray, and I visited the Republican Town Committee to demonstrate this blog. Using Town Hall's wireless network, we were able to blog live from the meeting. RTC members were interested to learn how the blog works and had fun creating a short entry for the blog (see the entry below). Last month, we also demonstrated the blog at the Democratic Town Committee meeting.
We're happy to take the show on the road again. Please email emily@darienlibrary.org if you would like us to demonstrate the blog for your organization or group.
We want the blog to be a place where Darien residents can obtain timely information about town government and get into discussions with their neighbors. We encourage you to join the conversation. Since the Boston Public Library's founding in 1848, public libraries have fostered an informed citizenry. Darien Community Matters is one of Darien Library's contributions to that legacy.
