May is National Foster Care Month!
The Connecticut Department of Children and Families is recruiting prospective foster and adoptive parents. There are over 6,000 children in foster care. If you are interested in helping care for a child, please contact the Connecticut Association of Foster and Adoptive Parents (CAFAP) at 1-888-KID-HERO.
The Department is holding several workshops during May, June, and July where you can get more information about foster care and adoption.
