DRI Releases Market Niche Study
DRI has released its Market Niche report, created by Greenberg Development Services (GDS) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and sponsored by the Connecticut Main Street Center. Click here to read the report.
This report, while not a beach read, makes for very interesting reading. GDS conducted a thorough analysis of the town and made recommendations based on that analysis. The report suggests that the "downtown's leasing effort should focus in the following six areas: 1. restaurants, 2. apparel, 3. home accessories, 4. specialty foods, 5. specialty lifestyle, 6. office and residential."
