Welcome
to the Darien Community Association The
Darien Community Association, Inc. is a unique
not-for-profit organization with a three-fold
mission: to provide educational,
cultural, recreational and civic programs;
to generate funds for scholarships and other
philanthropic works within the community;
and to maintain Meadowlands
as a
community resource.
For
over 85 years the DCA has stressed these goals
in serving the people of lower Fairfield County. We offer
our members fun, fellowship and friendships
through a wide variety of stimulating groups, programs,
lectures, courses, trips and other special events.
At the same time,
we serve this widespread community through our
philanthropies including our
scholarship program for Darien High School
and returning college students. Our
beautiful home, Meadowlands, is listed on the National
Register of Historic Places. It encompasses almost eight
acres of land and includes a bird sanctuary, nature trails,
a greenhouse and a formal garden maintained by
DCA volunteers. Meadowlands is a perfect setting for
weddings, parties and corporate functions. .Membership
in the DCA is open to everyone !
Come
join us.
